Helpie + Fetchie = Find and Seek

Why they're sold together

One is for people who search. The other is for people who ask.

Fetchie looks after the visitor who types into your search box: the best match first, the passage that matched highlighted, and a link to that exact spot on the page. Helpie looks after the one who’d rather ask. Its chat answers from your own pages and links the page each answer came from, and anything that needs a person becomes a ticket.

Both also tell you what your site doesn’t answer yet. Fetchie’s Insights list the searches that found nothing, and Helpie’s Content Prospector groups the questions its chat couldn’t answer. Put together, that’s your list of what to write next.

Neither needs the other. Fetchie adds a dollar or two a year to the price of Helpie, plus its own setup fee in the first year.

You decide what Fetchie indexes, a content type at a time. See the count before you commit, keep out what does not belong in results, and test a page before you build the whole thing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpie and Fetchie, bought together. Fetchie replaces WordPress’s built-in search with ranked results and highlighted snippets. Helpie adds a helpdesk: tickets, reply by email, and a chat that answers from your own content. One covers people who search, the other covers people who ask.

No. Neither one needs the other to run, and each is sold on its own page. The bundle suits a site where people both search for things and ask questions. If you only ever get one of those, buy that one.

They’re built on the same search engine, but each keeps its own index and runs on its own. Fetchie’s results and Helpie’s chat answers don’t pass anything to each other.

No. Both work on any WordPress site. On a WooCommerce store, Fetchie understands product variations, so a search for a SKU, colour or size finds the product. Helpie’s chat can read your products, and its support page gets a tab in My Account.

On the yearly price, a dollar or two, depending on the size you choose. The first year costs more than that, because each plugin has its own one-off setup fee and the bundle doesn’t combine them. From the first renewal on, that dollar or two is the whole difference between the bundle and Helpie on its own.

It’s built not to. Every answer has to come from a page on your site, and it links the page it came from. When nothing on your site covers the question, the chat asks the visitor to narrow it down or offers to open a ticket.

The chat uses your own Anthropic API key, so you pay Anthropic directly for what it uses. There are no per-agent or per-conversation fees from us. You can cap spending by the day, week and month, and limit how much any one visitor can use.

Fetchie’s index and search log stay in your own WordPress database, and searches are logged without who made them. You choose how long the log is kept. Helpie’s tickets stay on your site too. Chat messages go from your site straight to Anthropic, using your own API key, with no Helpie service in between.

Yes. Both read the finished page, so they see what your visitors see, whichever builder you designed it with. If you’ve built your own search results template, Fetchie fills it with ranked results rather than replacing it.

It takes over WordPress’s standard search address, so the search box, search icon and search widgets you already have show Fetchie’s results with nothing to set up.

Fetchie’s Insights tab lists the searches that found nothing. Helpie’s Content Prospector groups the questions its chat couldn’t answer. Both can email you a summary weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and each has a small dashboard widget.

Yes. A guest gets a secure single-use link to their ticket, so there’s no account to create and no password to lose. They can also reply by email, and the reply lands on their ticket.

Only if people already search it or ask you things. On a handful of pages that nobody searches, WordPress’s own search is fine. If questions arrive but nobody searches, Helpie on its own is the better fit.

Yes. Everything in the suite shares one Designer, so your colours, fonts and logo carry across all of it. Tracksies HQ for customers and orders, Squizzie for reports, Trustie Pro for reviews and Perkie for loyalty, all under the same Tracksies menu.

The size you choose applies to both plugins. Solo covers 2 sites, Studio 5 and Agency 20, for Helpie and for Fetchie alike. You get two licence keys, one for each plugin, and two yearly subscriptions that renew separately.
